Seattle, the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass and the Olympic Sculpture Park

Leaving Los Angeles we had decided to spend a few days in Seattle. On the first day we decided to visit the Space Needle, but soon realised this was quite expensive. Knowing we wouldn't be coming here again and also by including in the ticket a visit to the Glass museum, we decided that it was something we had to do.
Arriving at the rotating viewing platform, we had excellent views of the city and had an amusing time trying to get a photograph laying on the glass trying to make it look like we were falling. Others seemed to be more successful at this though.
An enjoyable experience with an unusual highlight being the cherry pie snack at the top as we sat looking out as the floor revolved.

Moving on we went to the Glass museum, not really knowing what to expect. This was a real surprise as we were in awe of the sculptures on show.

The sculptures by the artist Chihuly had us spellbound both in the gallery and in the attached garden,
These certainly made the cost of the joint ticket worthwhile.

Moving on, we continued with the art theme going to the Olympic Sculpture Park. This was smaller than expected and unusual in that several of the sculptures were part of an artistic crazy golf game, unfortunately, it wasn't open on this day.
