#Caribbean shirt couple. We were lucky enough to have a break in the sunshine on a cruise. We often saw this couple around and they wore a different shirt like these most days. What a nice idea.

Sketches of Art Club Members
I have been busy sorting out my studio and came across the sketches I have done of Art Club members over the years. I did't realize how many there were.
These are just quick sketches I do in between sessions. Some are not finished as the member moved; others just capture the essence of the person. Many brought back fond memories from the first time I was a member of Salford Art club in the 80's and early 90's. Others are from 2014 onwards, when I rejoined the club.
A couple are from Manchester Graphic club, which was closely linked with Salford in the 90's. A few more may be sitters from portrait sessions at the club.
It was interesting to look back and see the different methods I have used to capture the image. Sketches like these are not meant to be the finished article but give me a chance to play with different materials and styles.
