Busy day #painting from my walk around #Jumbles.

After a lovely walk a few days ago around Jumbles Reservoir near Bolton I decided to do a painting from the studies I did. As usual I started with the lights before adding some darks to give me a framework for the painting. After that I started the mid tones and then covered all the canvas before adding the final details. Just hoping that it looked like a road and not water. I liked the light coming through the trees and the shadows created.
