#Manchester day out.#urbansketchers #LizAckerley exhibition

Fascinating day out in Manchester yesterday. First a visit to see Liz Ackerley's exhibition at the Takk cafe. A interesting place and excellent exhibition depicting scenes of Manchester. At the moment there is an Urban sketchers symposium taking place and it was impressive to see so many artists around the area bust sketching. I can get very self conscious when outside. I remember once when sketching, as part of a commission, on top of a hill, in the quiet countryside i was eventually surrounded by about twenty people watching me. Here they were busy enjoying their day. 
Also taking place was a Comicon whereby various characters were wandering around mixing with the crowds.
A day to remember.
