![]() Inspired by your painting "Old Bridge Cricket wood" The Cricket Bridge How many crossed this cricked bridge Minds opened, flowing, caressed by nature Deep in thought yet alert to witness Each step a building bloc of stature Even now as natures fallen weakens We recall as if just recent past And day by day our time it quickens Until recap will be our last! Yet more will come and will ponder New minds to feast on sights of Spring Revisit paths a long time trodden And hear again the songbirds sing! by Finbarr Harkin There's always nice suprises around the corner when you least expect them. We wonder about facebook at times. Finbarr saw my work and liked it and then sent me this fabulous poem based on this painting. A great honour.
