An interesting afternoon viewing some of the artwork from students at Bolton University.
A cold day after the last few sunny days but a worthwhile visit. The first show was at the Coffee Grind Bolton. After google maps sent us to the wrong one we eventually found it in the shopping centre. An interesting coffee shop and good venue downstairs , as long as you aren't over six foot tall. Nice to see the work of art club member George Lee and a chance to add one of his paintings to our collection. Next we went to the Market Place Bolton where we came across the Effergy art exhibition; a collection of works by students from Bolton University. Again a range of diverse work on show. It must be about twenty years since we had visited these areas in Bolton but it proved an interesting afternoon and the artwork made it all worthwhile. We are looking forward seeing George's and his fellow students final show next year.
